Is this where my tax money is going? Late night soda and dance runs to the 7 Eleven.

This 7 year old car thief has swagger

He’s either A} gonna go places in life or B} gonna go places for life.  Let’s hope his guardians point his charisma and swagger in the right direction.

Best Line when asked if he should be punished

“Ya, just a little bit.  No video games…for the weekend”

The quick history of Paul Pierce’s “Gang Sign” - The 3 stripes

I’ll keep it short and sweet.

  1. Old Boston Hip Hop group “3 4 Da Stripes”
  2. Boston in need of an identity wore Adidas over Nike’s preferred by the rest of hip hop
  3. lower case b doubles for 3 fingeres (aka stripes), 3 stripes doubles for lower case b
  4. Adapted into 3 stripes for Blood, Sweat and Tears or BST which can be Boston shortened

It is something that developed and evolved from Hip Hop culture.  Much in the same way nobody knows who the first person to say “Bling Bling” (I know bad example) was the “3 stripes” representing Boston has many origins.  One can not deny that it it’s origins are closely associated with (at least initially) Boston’s Hip Hop culture and roots.

Leave it up to the anti-Hip Hop David Stern to make a huge deal about nothing.  Unlike the “B” for bloods (alledgedly where Pierce is from and what he meant according to the NBA) the 3 stripes won’t get you shot in Boston.

P.S. Yes that is Mayor Menino flashing the 3 stripes

You can see more of A. Garcia’s (one of the best Photogs in Beantown) stuff at his MySpace page here

The Original Fight Club - Holy Sh!t

I have complete respect for anyone that can turn a cookie sheet or copy of Martha Stewart’s living into a deadly weapon.  Who would have known that a bunch of geeks had these kind of balls?  ESPN did…and they have the tape.

P.S.  This video is definitely Not Safe For Work.  Unless your boss doesn’t mind you watching a couple of middle aged men beating the shit out of each other.  If that’s the case….blood and broken bones awaits you.

can someone please get a flagrant tonight?

see that d-bag all the way on the right.  that’s al horford.  that’s the reason why when the celtics win the next 2 games, they will not have any remorse running up the score.  and i’m not a big fan of violence, well maybe i am, but can’t someone throw a hard foul on this dude tonight.  or at least contest 3 pointers, i think they hit like 20 the other night…

and it begins…

so the mainstream media, and entertainment shows, and eventually the paparazzi have grown tired of destroying the pop princess of yesteryear (do i have to name drop?).  They are now prepared to go shock and awe on innocent Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana).

a firestorm has started over her photo’s in an upcoming issue of vanity fair,(where she was apparently duped into taking them).  I think the real story is people are just jealous that a 15 year old is making more money than most people will ever see, including that fat (expletive) perez hilton.

steroids or paralyzing someone? you decide…

pacman

so barry bonds does steroids and breaks Hank Aaron’s precious record, and now he is the biggest sports villain right?  meanwhile, pacman jones is involved in an altercation where an innocent security guard was paralyzed, yet you never hear him talked about as much on sports radio.  and he even recently got traded to the cowboys, and will probably get a new deal.

so what pisses you off more, someone taking steroids which at least 25% of the rest of the league does, or getting arrested multiple times, including the involvement when someone was paralyzed??
